This prescription has been changed and expanded in the dosage, preparation and efficacy of Chinese medicine included in the classics. Pharmacological studies have shown that it can strengthen the bone, play the role of anti-tumor, relieve bone marrow suppression, improve sperm quality and relieve post-traumatic stress disorder. The modern clinical application of this priscriptionhas been greatly expanded. ABSTRACT

Yuebi Decoction is a classic prescription derived from Synopsis of the Golden Chamber. It has significant clinical efficacy and wide application. Scholars of different dynasties have different opinions on its prescription name and put forward different understandings on the dosage of Ephedrae Herba and Gypsum Fibrosum in the prescription. There is a dispute between relieving exterior prescription and draining dampness prescription in the main syndrome. In this article, it is found that there is no contradiction between relieving exterior and draining dampnes, but they promote each other and play the role of "lifting the pot to uncover the cover". In terms of clinical application, this article introduces the cases of this prescription and its addition and subtraction used in the treatment of diseases of respiratory system, urinary system and other systems in recent years. It is found that clinical use of this prescription is mainly for "sweating and promoting diuresis", which reflects the thought of "treating different diseases with the same treatment" in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To anylyze the combination rule of prescriptions containing Cmnamomi Mmulus in the book of Treatise on Typhoid and Miscellaneous Diseases based on tree analysis algorith method. Methods:By collecting prescriptions contain Cmnamomi Mmulus in the book of Treatise on Typhoid and Miscellaneous Diseases, and applying the tree analysis algorithm method on the Ancient and Modern Medical Case Cloud Platform to co-occurrence calculate each layer of the prescriptions, we got the hierarchical tree structure diagram of Cmnamomi Mmulus prescriptions. Results:79 prescriptions containing 96 medicines were included, which appeared 529 times, with 7 different functions. The medicines that are frequently appeared include Cmnamomi Mmulus, Glycyrrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma Praeparata Cum Melle, Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, Jujubae Fructus, etc. The main effects include relieving the exterior, warming the meridians, warming yang and promoting diuresis. The tree structure diagram of the prescription is divided into seven layers, including the largest items of Cmnamomi Mmulus, Glycyrrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma Praeparata Cum Melle,Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, Jujubae Fructus, Paeoniae Radix Alba, Ephedrae Herba, Puerariae Lobatae Radix, and the collateral drugs of Poria, Atractylodis macrocephalae rhizoma, Alismatis Rhizoma, Zingiberis Rhizoma, etc. Conclusion:The formula tree analysis algorithm can connect the correlation between drugs in series, and show the relationship between a series of high-frequency co-occurrence drugs in the formula, which can be used for the learning of classics.

ABSTRACT

The translation methods of culture-laded words in TCM formula titles were discussed and analyzed in light of three-dimensional transformations of Eco-Translatology. Translation evaluation criterion was adopted as the degree of three-dimensional transformations including linguistic dimension, cultural dimension and communicative dimension. This paper aimed to contribute to the translation study of TCM formula titles.

ABSTRACT

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),a comprehensive medicinal system,is characterized by holistic theory that emphasizes the regulation of the integrity of the human body and the interactions between human individuals and their environments. The diagnostic and therapeutic methods of TCM are based on the differentiation of syndrome(Zheng in Chinese)and the use of herbal formula(Fang-Ji in Chinese). There is an urgent need to develop scientific research methods in accordance with the above characteristics for TCM modernization. In the era of big data and with the rapid progress in systems biology, polypharmacology and bioinformatics, network pharmacology has emerged as a promising drug discovery approach that takes the same view as the theory of TCM. This methodology has explored correlations between drugs and complex diseases from the perspective of the holistic theory and has highlighted the paradigm shift from″one drug, one target″to″network target″. Thus,it is an original idea to combine network pharmacology with the modern research of TCM. This paper briefly analyzed and discussed the progress and major scientific challenges in network pharmacology applied to TCM diagnosis and treatment. To promote the development of TCM network pharmacology , several suggestions were also raised.

ABSTRACT

A total of 267 patients with pressure ulcer were randomly divided into treatment and control groups. All of them underwent traditional debridement. The wounds in treatment group were spreaded with traditional Chinese medicine.According to the results of bacteria culture and drug sensitivity, antimicrobial agents were selected in control group. The observation indices of two groups included pain grade, swelling grade, ulcer area and skin temperature difference. Then the variations of observation indices before and after treatment were examined. In treatment and control groups, the different values of pain grade before and after treatment were 2.1 ± 0.9 and 1.2 ± 0.7,swelling grade 1.3 ± 0.6 and 0.7 ± 0.5,ulcer area 4.7 ± 3.1 and 2.4 ± 2.5 and skin temperature difference 0.12 ± 0.05 and 0.22 ± 0.10 respectively.Treatment group was superior to control group and there was statistical significance (P < 0.05).The effective rates were 95.6% and 65.4% and the number of cured patients 86 and 33 cases respectively. And there was statistical significance (P < 0.05).

ABSTRACT

With the guide of state syndrome differentiation theory, this article states a combination method of disease and syndrome differentiation for treating chronic hepatitis B.We think it is a good way to treat chronic hepatitis B from regulating liver, spleen and kidney, treating qi and blood and strengthening, clearing and dissolving simultaneously.Clinically,we use the methods of strengthening spleen and kidney, soothing fiver, activating qi flow and blood circulation, clearing away heat and dampness, and removing toxin; and adopt the medicines of astragalus, herbal artemisiae, mushrooms, meat from rong, radix scutellariae, radix puerariae, notoginseng, radix bupleuri, liquorice, etc.

ABSTRACT

@#ObjectiveTo study the protective effect of Chinese Medical Formula Decoction on anoxic damage in cultured hippocampal neuronal cells from newborn rats. MethodsThe sera with Chinese Medicine (SCM-1,2,3) were collected from rats fed on Chinese Medical Formula Decoction Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ(CMFD-Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ) for 3 days, while the sera of rats which were fed with normal saline was collected as control. Hippocampal neuronal cells were obtained from dissociated cerebrella of 2 day old Wister rats. The cells were maintained in 5% CO2 humidified atmosphere at 37℃. After 7 days, the cells were grown in culture media containing SCM-1,2,3 and normal saline for 24 hours and in anoxic atmosphere for 1 hour. After anoxia, the cells were cultured for 24 hours. Culture media were collected and Malonaldehyde (MDA) and Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH) in culture media were detected. ResultsThe survival neuronal cell rate in SCM-1 and 2 groups were significantly higher than control group. LDH and MDA in culture media of SCM-1 and 2 groups were lowed than control group. Conclusions There is a protective effect of CMFD-1 and 2 on anoxic damage in cultured hippocampal neuronal cells from newborn rats.
